In woods and waters 
Through the peering of tree leaves and the crashing of wave upon rock
On a island long 
A fire born in the glint of green emerald eyes. 
The chortle of a babes laugh echoed through time to the cackling hyena of a women enjoying her days 
Early days filled with music, laughs, seeing theater through the inside out,  And being engulfed by artists 
Through movement, literature and a lingering gaze at  history 
Through teaching the ways of life, theater, and music  
Through spirit, through trust, and the ever knowledge that growth is every day within us
And for us
Through family, friends, and endless glimmers of looking into dogs eyes  
This fire eyed, emerald green girl found her place 
Through darkness, through loss, through chaos, through burn-out, through the swallow of pain and the tremendous acts of perseverance that near all humans go through. 
An act of defining oneself through the jagged  impressions of others instructions of what successful should be, with the formula they bleed for. 
Well no more…
No more blood for a system that does not hold us carefully, she thought. She will do life in her own way in her own hands creating her own fire to keep warm in the woods and  halt waves crashing upon her
Emerald green girl tells the stories of humanity in whatever way she can.
A watcher, a participant, a creator, a helper, a teacher.
She sings the songs of old and new connecting to what is most true.
